With thirty two years of financial, community/client management and organizational experience, my approach to decision making and problem solving is based on the ability to motivate people, the allocation of resources to achieve maximum efficiency and pay close attention to the bottom line.
Key areas of leadership are directly related to positive , professional attitude, accountability and a common sense approach to management issues in order to achieve realizable goals.
The management capabilities , when shared with community organizations, have proven effective in fund raising activities, membership growth and international recognition of programs.
Since leaving the Bank in June, 1991 I set up a rubber stamp manufacturing firm that sells rubber stamps to chartered banks, Lawyers and Credit Unions across the province, with 9 wholesale outlets and retail sales as well. which is now owned and operated by Gail Bergen in Prince Albert.
For 4 years I maintained my Mutual Funds Sales License through TWC Financial CORP. and manage several clients (120) with small & large portfolios, using my own investment methods. I have built a long term relationship with clients who have over 2 million dollars invested through me. I have brokered Millennium Mortgages,Invis Mortgages and now Mortgage Intelligence, P.A. Credit Union mortgages. This is where I had concentrated a lot of effort over the last 4 years as I had several large commercial loan presentations to prepare and submit for bank financing, for clients, now they are done and I can concentrate on mutual fund sales and Mortgage Brokering.
When I was CIBC DEALER PLAN SALES REP in Lloydminster, I called on all automobile , mobile home dealers & Realtors many times on cold calls, and had most dealing with me. I had the 3rd largest dealer volume in Saskatchewan next to Saskatoon and Regina. I had the largest personal loan volume in the province 3 years in a row and was in the top 3 for 6 years. Upon moving to P.A. I built the personal loan and mortgage volume in my satellite branch to a stage where my branch with myself and one loan officer were matching and several times exceeded main branch's 5 Loan Officer's Volume.

The CIBC trains it's branch managers in organizational procedures, credit and loans management, personnel practices and goal setting as determined in the annual business plan.
Today, management and profitability strategies are based on exceptional client services, product marketing and cost rationalization.
* Generated a strategic business plan which focused on increasing the client base, stressed staff efficiency to increase customer service satisfaction, emphasized on personalized marketing of financial products and services and sought to capture a greater market share of a highly competitive market.
* As a result the client base increased by over 20%, staff grew to eleven , from 4, the loan portfolio expanded by 250%, arrears decreased to under 1% and the branch's profile rose significantly. The higher profile and increased customer satisfaction levels brought in repeat business and referrals which led to new business opportunities.
* Sought and succeeded in raising the community's awareness of the branch through active community participation, selected media advertising and encouraging staff to become recognized participants in community activities.
The impact of such hands on involvement directly influenced the bottom line and provided personalsatisfaction for myself and the staff.
* Marketing financial products and services on an individual client basis and through front line involvement.
* Clients, especially senior citizens, appreciated the personalized attention and the resolution of their financial investments as they gained a sense of financial security and a peace of mind.
CAREER SCOPE SASKATCHEWAN BRANCHES 1968-1983
* Built the Lloydminster Personal Loan Department from a personal operation to a six person unit. In 1980- 1981 during a period of economic downturn, the unit gained recognition as the largest lending unit in Saskatchewan and Manitoba due to active marketing promotions, implemented by me.
* Built the personal portfolio holdings with TWC Financial from zero to over 2.5 Million dollars in a period of 3 1/2 years, as well as established solid working relationships with the P.A. Credit Union, TD Bank, Laurentian Bank and Citibank and Millennium Mortgages with regards to Mortgages, Personal Loans and Self Directed accounts as well as regular Bank Accounts.
I also have an excellent knowledge of WP51, Word for Windows, Excel, Quicken, Internet and a host of other programs, including the TD and Royal Bank commercial loan application programs. My Business page on the net built by myself is https://members.tripod.com/~mrmoney and another site I built is http://members.tripod/~pahighnoonoptimist
